chopping boards – old and new

I love Chopping Boards leaning up on a work surface or shelf in the kitchen, worn from years of use. The colour of the wood becomes rich and the surface smooth but dented and concave, they have a real character. These collections make a lovely feature in your kitchen and are not only still perfect for chopping but create a really original and interesting way to serve food.

On my travels around the internet searching for inspirational images for photo shoots and unusual kitchens cabinets and items I have come across a few lovely images, that could inspire you to become of collector of beautiful old and new chopping boards.

deVOLs accessories range has a number of really interesting and different chopping boards that would make a lovely addition to your collection. They were all designed by deVOL and so very unique and handmade, of course. My favourite at the moment (because it does change!) is the Wheelbarrow Chopping Board, I think it is because I love the photograph where it is standing.
