Food trucks and street food

I love the idea of having a travelling food truck offering people gourmet food on the streets.  I really like the possibility of everyone being able to have proper, tasty, good quality home cooked food and from people with a passion for the real thing.

Street Food – an everyday way of life in many countries, local people cooking and selling cheap, fast, fresh, healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and night. The excitement created by the smells and noise is the main focus of many communities and this way of life is what brings people together and ensures traditions and families keep their community alive.

There is a new craze hitting the streets and I think it’s come from New York and the beaches of California – Gourmet food trucks. These amazing vans are run by people who love food and cooking it. They source the very best local ingredients and give their queues of customers the real thing. If it’s a burger, it’s the real deal. If its Pizza its wood fired, if its seafood it will have been caught right there on the beach.

Take a look at the pictures below and see the amazing trucks and food that they offer. Hopefully one day it will be more common to see these trucks everywhere.
