Each beautiful brass handle has\u00a0various copper alloys to find interesting unique variations to the metal<\/span>. Stephanie has been experimenting with lots of different techniques such as acid etching, antiquing fluid, sand blasting\u00a0and patinas\u00a0to achieve each unique texture and finish. Every cup handle has been individually sand cast to achieve a different degree of pitting too, all of the tiny little\u00a0holes\u00a0were formed by sprinkling\u00a0tiny grains of sand inside the\u00a0moulds in different quantities.\u00a0I’d never really heard of sand casting before but it sounds (and looks) like such a cool technique…<\/span><\/p>\n
