The grand scale of flowers and leaves and the accurate depiction of stylish blooms is gracing our New York and Cotes Mill showrooms we love it so much. The black is particularly good as a backdrop for this design and Rosie finishes the painting with a beautifully discreet crackled glaze and lacquer which just adds to its character.<\/p>\n

\u2013 How the service works<\/strong><\/p>\n
Highly colourful and decorative interiors have become so popular that we wanted to incorporate some of this style into our kitchens and cupboards in a subtle way. We currently have four beautiful and quite different designs available to our customers and we consider these designs to be original pieces of artwork that will be treasured for generations to come.<\/p>\n
The designs we have come up with are so unique, detailed and beautifully painted, they can truly transform a room. These lovely original designs are digitally transferred onto the backboards of your chosen open or glazed cupboard, prior to the cupboard\u2019s construction, giving an almost undetectable hand-painted and astonishingly well-executed finish. We recommend the curiosity cupboard as the most authentic choice. Our glazed countertop cupboards are suitable too, not quite as historically correct but just as lovely.<\/p>\n
We then hand-finish and embellish each backboard with craquelure before applying a light coat of antique wax to bring the crackle to life. This final procedure adds so much character to the surface of the design which completes the authentic look. It\u2019s a very straightforward but wonderful addition to your deVOL Kitchen or curiosity cupboard and can be the finishing touch that makes your kitchen feel extra special.<\/p>\n
