We like to use floaty muslin and linen rather than heavy fabrics. Not only are cupboard skirts uber functional and give a really authentic country look, but they&#8217;re also very economical in comparison to hardwood doors. It seems rather obvious when you think about it, but fixing the rail at the top of your window, as you might with standard curtains, actually makes for a very sweet and quirky look.
