<\/ul><\/div><\/p>\nI hope you like our huge! new prep table, it is the\u00a0latest edition to our Classic English Showroom here at Cotes Mill and it looks great. The worktop is hand made at our workshops from wide boards of rustic oak, which we have\u00a0oiled liberally. This worktop is \u00a0a new look for us and i’m hoping it is going to be really popular as it looks and feels strong, beautiful and very\u00a0hard-wearing.\u00a0 The wood \u00a0has a few\u00a0gnarly\u00a0bits and knots and you know it will age well, a few knocks and bumps along the way will only add to the character of this beautiful wood.<\/p>\n
The table is painted in ‘Blackened’ by Farrow and Ball and the drawers have our latest cup handles which have a slightly aged brass finish. This prep table is\u00a0definitely\u00a0the new Island!!, open painted slats at the bottom so you can stack up all your big pots and pans and chopping boards and wide drawers that will hold every type of utensil.<\/p>\n
This look is the essence of a freestanding kitchen and will\u00a0particularly\u00a0appeal to\u00a0people\u00a0who love to cook, its simple, fresh and totally practical and would work in any style of kitchen. The table in the\u00a0photograph\u00a0is\u00a0nearly\u00a03 meters long and has two sets of drawers on both sides, you can’t see them on the photograph but we will post another image showing the whole\u00a0piece\u00a0next week.<\/p>\n
This is a substantial piece of furniture and works perfectly with the\u00a0proportions\u00a0of our Classic kitchen showroom at the Mill, but we can make this design to suit any size of kitchen. Small or big it would be the spot in your kitchen where\u00a0everyone\u00a0gathers, the\u00a0center\u00a0piece to any simply furnished room.<\/p>\n
