The Barnsbury Islington Kitchen
Flat-fronted Georgian terraces, many with original fanlights and iron railings, line the streets and squares of Islington and Barnsbury. This beautiful kitchen is in one of these delightful houses, probably about the closest you can get to being in the city without living in a flat, yet it seems a world away. The kitchen was soft and uncomplicated, effortlessly beautiful, but it was the light that brought the room alive and made you feel that you had discovered an exotic little hideaway. It’s amazing how light can have such a memorable and positive impact on a room, it can truly be the difference between a place being beautiful or uninviting and cold.
