Some new things

Designing and selling kitchens is our passion here at the Mill, but our old and vintage pieces are becoming very popular, so we have to keep sourcing new and interesting things. The showrooms evolve and change constantly and the displays that sit alongside the kitchens are very transient. Its exciting to re create new looks and arrangements that stay until the key piece is sold and then you start all over again. Wouldn’t it be great if you could do that in your own home, every time you got tired of things you could move them on and begin again. Having said that I do have some pieces at home that I love, they are part of my home and things wouldn’t be the same if they weren’t there.Its nice to have pieces of furniture that you look upon as an old friend. Its a good job we don’t get too attached to our pieces at the Mill because they don’t hang around long enough.
We do try to focus on sourcing items that will work well in a kitchen, but sometimes our hearts rule our heads and we just have to buy random pieces of loveliness just because we like them.
