Cupboard costs: £28,115
The ‘Sebastian Cox’ Kitchen just keeps on delighting us with its classic simplicity and the ease with which it seems to fit perfectly into any room. This galley kitchen in a meticulously renovated 4 storey Georgian townhouse in central London was understated, neat and well-arranged with just a little hint of quirky. The cupboards are really substantial yet elegant, they are solid and beautifully made inside and out, but the overriding beauty is in the texture of the band sawn English Beech.
The sash window at the end of the room allowed light to fill the kitchen and highlight both the textures of the wood, the smooth honed marble and the little glints of copper. Integrated appliances and a little bit of contemporary styling looked so good set against a living space with original bare brick walls and some very individual furnishings and objet d'art, we love it.
