Smeg and deVOL join up for a photo shoot

3rd July 2013

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Smeg, the famous Italian appliance company, know the whole world over for their ubiquitous retro fridge, here at Cotes Mill for a day of styling and shooting their new Range cooker.

We love Smeg products here at deVOL, the freestanding fridges look great with all our kitchens.

It seems Smeg love us too, they have been impressed with our products, kitchen design and photographs since we exhibited at 100% design, last summer at Earls Court. We used their beautiful Marc Newson designed integrated appliances in our ‘Air Kitchen’ at the show.

So impressed were they, that they asked us if we could style and shoot their new ‘Victoria Traditional Range’ cookers, here in the beautiful surroundings of Cotes Mill

Smeg are renowned for photographing their products in a simple cut out style, making the product the hero, but they have chosen to try the lifestyle approach for this new Range. We were delighted and flattered to be asked to take on this challenge and give the customer a feel for how these cookers really would look in your home.

Below are the three ovens we shot, the Cream and Black ones in our Shaker showroom and the brand new, never before seen, Pale Blue one, in our Classic English showroom. We can incorporate these smeg ranges and the fab retro fridges into any of our kitchen designs and supply with your deVOL Kitchen.

These images have never been seen before but we hope to see them soon on the Smeg uk website www.smeguk.com
