We are looking for a friendly, organised and well-presented person to join the reception team at our Cotes Mill showroom in Leicestershire on Saturdays.
Cotes Mill is a unique and inspiring environment that welcomes visitors from all over the country every weekend. As one of the first people our customers meet, you will play an important role in creating a warm, relaxed and memorable experience for everyone visiting deVOL.
This role would suit someone with an interest in interiors, antiques, design and customer service, who enjoys speaking with people and being part of a creative and hardworking team.
Working Hours:
Saturdays, 10:00am – 5:00pm
Your job will involve:

Welcoming customers to Cotes Mill and help create an enjoyable and memorable showroom experience.

Developing a strong understanding of deVOL kitchens, furniture, accessories and antiques to confidently assist customers with questions and advice.

Supporting designers and other showroom staff with day-to-day tasks.
-
Assisting customers with gift and antique purchases, including taking payments.
-
Helping maintain the smooth running of the showroom during busy Saturday opening hours.

Being hands-on and proactive with any jobs that require attention throughout the day.

Clerkenwell, London
We are looking for someone with a real passion for design and interiors to join our exceptional team of kitchen designers in an assistant role.
deVOL has become synonymous with a distinctive style and understated quality; something our designers are taught and become highly skilled in perfecting for every customer.
Your job will involve assisting and working alongside our senior designers throughout the kitchen design process, including:

Drawing up customers' room plans and their requirements to create kitchen layouts, using Draftsight, under the supervision of a Kitchen Designer

Assisting and being involved in customer design meetings and ongoing design work

Creating customer kitchen quotations using MS Office. Meeting and greeting customers in the showroom as well as answering and directing telephone enquiries.

Working with all the deVOL designers to keep the quality of design and service impeccable for every customer.
This is a full-time role that begins with a 1-3 month training period based at our Cotes Mill showroom in Leicestershire, set within 12 acres of meadows and riverbanks just outside Loughborough. Nearby accommodation can be provided if needed.
After the initial training period, the role will transition to our St Johns showroom. This role is office-based and requires a daily presence in our showroom.
You will be required to work 1-2 Saturdays a month, with a day taken in lieu.
We would love you to:

Have a creative qualification or passion related to furniture or interiors.

Be excellent at organising and prioritising your time.

Have minimum GCSE grades (or equivalent) of A-C in English and Maths.

Have experience working in a customer-facing role.

Have a great eye for detail, a flair for design, and a desire to create exceptional work.

Prior experience of using CAD software would be beneficial but not essential.
