We are very pleased to introduce our new Shaker kitchen colours, they are all lovely and I don’t know how you will choose which ones to go for!
There are loads of beautiful combinations and the image above doesn’t quite do justice to them, but it hopefully gives you an idea.

My favourite colour is the Old Rose which i think would work beautifully throughout a kitchen, Carrara Marble worktops and a freestanding Pantry Cupboard in Damask, sounds so lovely.

Away from my choices, we are noticing that interiors are definitely getting darker. The white, bright, light kitchens we love and are used to,are now competing with rich dark bolder colours. Our Pantry Blue and Lead are perfect for this look and i think our old favourite Mushroom with Honed Black granite and Pantry Blue with Oiled Oak worktops, would be a really stunning combination in a larger Kitchen.

Using two colours and two types of worktop is still a design feature we love, enhancing the freestanding nature of many of our kitchen designs, it creates a more eclectic and original feel to a room. However, as with all recommendations there are always exceptions to the rule and I think in smaller fitted kitchens, its better to try and keep to one colour and one worktop and use a contrasting colour for a pantry or odd wall cupboard if you have one.

I think the general gist is, anything goes at the moment! Dark kitchens dark worktops, light kitchens light worktops, or as we have chosen to do in our new showroom display, Dark cupboards light worktops -Pantry Blue and Carrara Marble are our choices for this utility room(to be installed in the next week here at Cotes Mill).

Whichever way you decide to go with your Kitchen colours we have some beautiful new options and as always we still offer a bespoke paint colour option for 10% extra if you have a specific colour in mind.
