Our Cotes Mill Showroom in Leicestershire, UK
Saturday Showroom Assistant
We are looking for a happy, friendly, and smiley person to help look after the reception and showrooms at our beautiful Cotes Mill home. This role is key to the success of deVOL as you will be the first point of contact for all our visiting customers on a Saturday.
Our Saturday working hours are 10.00 am - 5.00 pm.
Your job at deVOL will involve:
- Welcoming all of our customers and ensuring their visit to deVOL is a happy and memorable experience.
- Learning about all aspects of deVOL so you can confidently chat with customers on their arrival.
- Helping designers and staff with many varying roles to include taking gift and vintage sales and ensuring displays are neat and tidy.

Design Office Assistant
We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, creative environment to help maintain and run a busy design office. You will be joining a team of highly experienced designers working from our Cotes Mill showroom in Leicestershire. The position is rewarding and varied and we are very happy to train the ideal candidate.
Your job at deVOL will involve:
- Answering general enquiries made to our Cotes Mill head office from current and potential customers by telephone and email. You’ll need to take clear and accurate messages for our designers and project managers.
- Coordinating with customers on their web and accessory orders, providing help and advice where necessary.
- Liaising daily with our logistics partners on the status of orders and ensuring we always meet our delivery deadlines where possible.
- Processing small orders with our workshop teams and being the point of contact for both the customer and our departments for those orders.
- Communicating clearly and efficiently with the design and customer service managers regarding any problems our customers might experience and providing assistance in resolving them quickly.
- Organising our busy design office, keeping things neat and tidy, ensuring we’re kept fully stocked with samples and office supplies to enable the smooth every day running of the department.
- Processing kitchen deposit and balance payments and liaising with our accounts team to ensure all correct procedures are followed.

Office Administrator
We are looking for an applicant who is friendly and professional to join our ever-growing operations team, to assist with general administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include -
- Providing administrative support to the operations team
- Arranging travel, vehicle, and accommodation requirements where necessary
- Producing documentation for the kitchen installers and delivery drivers
- Maintaining relevant databases and spreadsheets
- Liaising with the project management and production teams
- Maintaining and inputting data on in-house systems

HR Assistant
We are looking for a capable, friendly, and enthusiastic person to assist our HR department.
This is a fast-paced department that offers HR assistance to over 300 employees. You'll have the chance to interact with all departments within deVOL and each day will be unique.
The job role will include but is not limited to -
- Accurate recording of confidential personal information
- Monitoring staff attendance and relaying this information to Managers
- Maintaining relevant databases and spreadsheets
- Assisting with the recruitment process from initial stages through to inducting new starters
- Uploading confidential files to our HR system
- Reviewing and correcting confidential data held in the HR system
- Assisting with the initial processes of payroll
- Providing administrative support across a broad spectrum of tasks.
We would like you to have –
- Previous administration experience

Kitchen Designer
We are looking for people with a real passion for furniture or interior design to join our ever-growing, dynamic and experienced team of kitchen designers. deVOL has become synonymous with distinctive style and understated quality; something our designers are taught and become highly skilled in perfecting for every customer.
Your job at deVOL will involve:
- Guiding clients through the kitchen design process both in person, on the telephone, and via email throughout their project.
- Interpreting customer plans and requirements to create kitchen layouts using AutoCAD. These plans will be accompanied by a detailed quote and personal letter so proficiency with written English and good numerical skills are required.
- Working with all the deVOL designers to keep the quality of design and service impeccable for every customer.
We would love you to:
- Have the ability and confidence to chat with and advise customers in a professional and friendly way. Applicants must be able to present themselves professionally both on the telephone and in person.
- Be excellent at organising and prioritising your time.
- Have a great eye for detail, a flair for design, and a desire to create exceptional work.
Prior experience of using CAD software would be beneficial but not essential.
Project Manager
We are looking for a highly organised individual who is able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to provide an excellent, bespoke service to customers. You will be joining a team of highly experienced project managers on a large number of projects around the country.
The position is extremely rewarding and varied and we are very happy to train the ideal candidate.
Your job at deVOL will involve:
- Organising and managing all aspects of a customer’s project.
- Communicating with the customer, suppliers, manufacturers, and tradesmen on a daily basis regarding technical details of each project.
- Organising the logistics of up to four kitchen fittings per day.
- Liaising with workshops to ensure that each project is running on schedule.
