3D Figurine Printing Photo Booth

3rd December 2012

Imagine a memorable moment being captured in the form of a 3D Figurine instead of a photograph. Your favourite holiday snap escaping the usual boundaries of a picture frame and physically standing on your mantlepiece.

The 3D printing photo booth, located in Japan, does exactly what the name suggests. You simply step into a photo booth and have your photo taken, but instead of printing out a small photograph, like your standard passport photo booth, it will print out a tiny 3D figurine of yourself. The other main difference between the 3D photo booth and a regular photo booth is the cost of your print out, with cost starting at a whopping £160 at the low end and £330 at the high end, but new technology always seems tremendously overpriced, so expect prices to fall over the next few years.
