Helen Robson
Helen studied 3D Design at Loughborough University, graduating in 2013 with a 2:1 in 3D design. Teaching art and design is one of Helen's passions and before working at deVOL Helen was working as an Art Teacher at a summer school. She has also been a workshop assistant at The Lightbox Gallery, The Eden Project and particularly enjoyed teaching as a volunteer in Sri Lanka. Alongside her degree, Helen also undertook internships with product and furniture designer Michael Marriott and at Next in their homeware department. Helen works as a Kitchen Designer here at deVOL, helping to guide customers through the kitchen design process. Working directly with the customer to design a product that truly fits their needs as well as working for a company that manufactures locally are two of the things that Helen loves about her job. Helen also works on her own design projects, most recently for cards and gift company Tigerprint as well as for Upcycle Preston, creating a design that could be replicated by people to help them generate income and learn skills. Outside of work Helen enjoys spending time with friends, playing bass guitar and rock climbing.
