We have never shown you any pictures of our lovely deVOL van and a kitchen mid fit before, so here goes, our lovely customers the Renwicks have just sent these over……….

This is a very exciting project, a complete Barn renovation on a massive scale in Northumberland at Cragend Farm, see the link below and what they have been up to for the last 2 years. We first met the Renwicks when we were still at our Jubilee Drive premises and have seen the progress they have made on this project throughout out this period.

Finally, they are having their kitchen fitted and our 2 fitters Lee and Rich needed lots of help to move the very large piece of honed black granite onto the Island, it weighed in at 275kgs or about a quarter of a tonne!!

The kitchen is from our ‘Classic English range’, completely bespoke and quite traditionally freestanding.

I will update you on the finished kitchen soon but I know everyone will want to know the paint colour straightaway, its ‘Echo’ by the little greene Paint company. I love the contrast between the rustic floor, which is all re used stone and the cool fresh look of the cupboards. They took the floor up when they began renovating the room with the intention of putting it back down, but the slabs were very large so they have painstakingly cut them all into a smaller pieces and re laid them, the result must be very satisfying for them, re cycled, original and with history.
