Yorkshire Sculpture Park

I took part in the Etape du Dales this weekend, a 112 mile charity bike ride around the Yorkshire Dales. On the long drive up the M1 I decided to pull over at the Yorkshire Sculpture park. I had never been before and was impressed by the park, sculptures and how detached you felt from the M1, which is surprisingly close. The park is free to visit with £7.50 for all day parking. There is a lot to see and unfortunately I only managed to see a fraction of what is available, although it means I will definitely be going back. There is a great exhibition of sculpture by Joan Miró, one of Europe’s most important 20th century artists. For more information visit http://www.ysp.co.uk/
