a simple chandelier of sorts, by deVOL

This double light is from our Heirloom Collection, which features a range of homewares that have been inspired by historical pieces we have seen at antique fairs or in large Victorian and Georgian stately homes. The design of our gaselier was born and recreated by Robin, our Managing Director, after a memorable visit to the below-stairs kitchen of Lanhydrock House in Cornwall. It features a handmade brass arm which is reminiscent of very early light fittings that were made in the late Victorian period whilst gas lighting was still predominant. These light fittings were made of turned brass components and brass tubes by the makers of gas light fittings.
