I took a short trip to Barcelona a few weeks ago. There is so much to love about Bacelona; great food, museums and Gaudi’s many amazing buildings. Here’s a few iphone photos from trip.

La Pedrera is best known for its roof top terrace. It was commissioned and built as 4 family apartments in 1910. 1 of the apartments is set out as a Modernista apartment complete with original kitchen. The kitchen has stunning Carrara marble worktops which have aged beautifully. I’ll add another post soon with photos.

MACBA – The museum of modern art had a great exhibit about Group R, an group of architects that brought a new design style to Catalan in the post war years.
