C O N S E R V A T O R Y – Winter Room

29th January 2013

By Jennifer Jelley

So this is blog entry number 2!

That’s one per year so far… now these are just a few photographs I’ve taken of our evolving conservatory in Anstey. Despite the weather this space is proving to be a wonderful calming place to sit and flick through magazines, read a book or simply gaze out the windows.

We’ve still to paint the walls and and fill the interior with bits and bobs (I actually love the texture and tones offered by the unfinished plastered wall). In time Steve and I plan to install a wood burner as well as set up our easels and brushes to recover our long neglected painting practises.

Hopefully my next entry won’t be so far behind.
