I always love to see beautiful photographs of a quirky interior, some simple food, an unbelievable view or just something ordinary, looking quite beautiful in its raw state. Sometimes the simplest, plainest most unlikely things can be transformed from a lowly something to a glorious image through the creative intuition of a fabulous stylist and photographer.
Its so refreshing after the busyness of Christmas to look at something so natural and unadorned, the fresh colours and mix of old and new in these images by Vanessa Lewis are definitely good for the soul. The inspiration these photographs give is exciting, when I found the website I was so thrilled and really hope to try and bring some of this inspiration into the kitchen photo shoots I do this year.
