The Oxfordshire Farmstead

Total Cupboard Costs: £13,415

The first thing that strikes you as you walk into this kitchen is seeing the beautiful expanse of our ‘Rose Lace Market Tiles’, the texture and reflections completely stole the show. Paired with Refectory Red Shaker cupboards, this kitchen shows how easy it is to make your room completely unique by mixing our accessories, cupboards and colours in new and original ways.

We always love combining vintage furniture in with our cupboards and the fabulous old prep table in the middle of the room really did add a touch of authenticity to the space. It was the perfect fit too, what a lucky find.

Little glints of warm aged brass from the rails, taps, cupboard catches and Heirloom Gaselier Light tied the room together in a very subtle way, not contrived or obvious at all. That’s the beauty of cleverly designed accessories, they almost go unnoticed, but they just look so right.

Tucked away in the Oxfordshire countryside, this family home was all about easy style and comfort and feeling appropriate to the property, an old stone dwelling, surrounded by trees and fields. Stylish little additions that didn’t detract from the beauty of the house and its original features, they simply enhanced it.

This was a simple country kitchen with unexpected colours and details, cleverly mixed in with traditional pieces. It’s got just the right balance to make it feel comfortable and practical yet just a little bit bohemian.
